Day 11: Knowing God for Yourself

Memory Verse: Study and be eager and do your utmost to present yourself to God approved (tested by trial) a workman who has no cause to be ashamed, correctly analyzing and accurately dividing (rightly handling and skillfully teaching the Word of Truth.

2 Timothy 2:15

Psalm: 119- focus on 1-16, 33-40, 57-64, 89-96 113-120 (READ IT ALL 😉

Challenge: Do your own devotion today (whether it is 10 minutes or 2 hours), spend some specific, undistracted time in the Word, and then share what you read and learned in your journal or with your accountability partner.

Many times we don’t STUDY the Word for ourselves. We wait on someone to break it off, chew it for us, spoon-feed it into our mouths, then massage our throats to swallow it. STUDY FOR YOURSELF!

God wants, desires and you NEED to know the Word (John 1:1- so this translates into Jesus) for yourself.

This Word is our Daily Bread- are you starving?

The devotion for today is to do your own. Then share it with someone that needs to hear it.
